For those of you that joined us years ago on our rabbitry adventure, THANK YOU! We love our bunnies and still have them, but we are so focused on other things at the moment that we are not actively running a rabbitry.

That being said, we have made the exciting decision to revamp our blog and create a hub for homeschooling families, and prospective homeschooling families, to find resources, encouragement and new ideas to make their journey of homeschooling truly unique to their family and their child(ren)’s needs and desires.

This may seem like a big jump from rabbits to homeschooling, but it really makes perfect sense. Our motivation for raising rabbits was partly to provide an enrichment activity for our daughter, who loves all things animals. At that time she wanted to be a veterinarian, which of course has changed over the years. Her love for animals, hands on learning and finding opportunities to learn by doing however, has not changed a bit.

So we feel it’s time to expand what we share.

Our hope and heart is to encourage more families to do life together. To encourage more parents to trust the process and to find the joy in the every day moments and the profound learning that takes place without textbooks and chalk boards.
